MJ-SDCisIMPELLER (turbine)water meter with dry type register for residentialapplication with sizes from 5/8"to 2"and meetsto AWWA C708 standard with NSF-61-Gcertification.
OPERATION:
Water flows through the meter's strainer (inletand internal) and into the measuring chambewhere it drives the impeller. A driving magnettransmits the movement of the impeller to adriven maanet located within the sealed
register. The magnet is connected to a geartrain which translates the impeller rotates intovolume totalizators displayed on the registerdial face.
CONSTRUCTION:MJ-SDC top loaded Water Meter consistsof three basic components: main case,measuring chamber and a head ring. The maincases of all sizes are constructed fromeco-brass alloy.
